SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Guidelines for posts on Legendary Lake Mills social media platforms are based in our Mission and Statement of Inclusion. These platforms are intended to promote news and events of our members.

Social media posts will be made in support of our members, events held by our members, and events associated with our organization. We will not post in support of political, religious or social causes except as they pertain to events of our members. We will not tolerate hateful or malicious comments on any post. Such comments will be removed and the commenter subject to removal from our page.

LLM designates individuals with authority to manage, monitor and post to social media sites on behalf of the organization.  Authorized individuals include the LLM President, Executive Director and others approved by the LLM Board.

Employees, volunteers and Board members are encouraged to promote the mission of LLM by commenting, liking and sharing of social media posts. Opinions expressed by employees, volunteers and Board members may not necessarily represent those of the organization and should be viewed as such.
