Join Legendary Lake Mills for Witches Night Out, a free admission, Halloween-themed trick-or-treating event happening downtown Lake Mills on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 PM. Families and children are invited to dress in costume and visit participating local businesses handing out candy along Main Street and on Lake Street next to Commons Park. Designed to bring the community together for an evening of family fun, this event is a safe, festive way to celebrate the season and support local shops and makers.
🎃 Downtown Trick-or-Treating – Support Local While You Stroll
On Witches Night Out, costumed children are invited to trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses. Look for the official Witches Night Out poster in shop windows to know who’s handing out goodies! Many of our local retailers will also be set up along Lake Street next to Commons Park, making it easy to stroll, collect candy, and enjoy a safe, walkable event.

🧙♀️ Calling All Witches – Join the Fun in Costume!
One of the best parts of Witches Night Out? Everyone’s encouraged to dress up! Adults, teens, and kids alike are invited to don their favorite witch (or wizard!) costumes and head downtown for an evening of enchantment. The more, the merrier—and the more magical it looks when downtown is filled with pointy hats and broomsticks.

All activities take place in our charming downtown area. You’ll find trick-or-treat stops at storefronts and additional candy stations set up along Lake Street on the Commons Park side. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Lake Mills by foot, meet neighbors, and support local entrepreneurs.
