Korth County Park
Situated on the shores of Rock Lake, Korth Park offers visitors a sweeping view of the water from the top of a glacial drumlin dominating the center of the property. The park has a gorgeous timber frame pavilion (with a concession stand for rent) and is also home to an 8-acre restored oak savanna and 60+ acres of tall grass prairies.
The park has two entrances; W8282 Elm Point Road and W8930 Korth Lane. Both entrances are just off of County Highway S, on the West side of Lake Mills.
Korth and Elm Point Pavilions provide visitors with an excellent location to either host events or to just enjoy a picnic in the park. For those interested in hiking and running, the park offers a mowed trail system as well as a gravel path along the lake that connects to the Glacial Drumlin Trail. During the winter months, the trails are groomed for classic style cross country skiing and the hill to the east of Korth Pavilion is great for sledding. The park also offers great opportunities for simply viewing wildlife or enjoying a moment of solitude in your busy life!
