Blood Drive – Lake Mills American Legion Post 67
Post 67 American Legion is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday Aug 27th from 1:00 – 5:30 PM at the Post (129 S. Main Street, Lake Mills, WI).
Versiti blood centers of Wisconsin is a well respected blood collection system that is the primary provider of blood products to the Veterans Affairs hospitals.

The Lake Mills’ Legion Post 67 is famous their Legion Hamburgers, known to many locals as “Sliders”. The Post operates out of the hamburger stand at 133 North Main St, Lake Mills. It opens it doors to the public every year on the first Friday of May and closes on the first Friday of October. The hamburger stand is open from 10am until 8pm or until they run out of supplies. People come from all over to get a taste of the delicious sliders. The Post also operates out of the Slider Mobile which is placed in Commons Park during the Town & Country Days.
Post 67 offers Bingo night every 1st ,3rd, and 5th Friday.
Venue
The Clarence Bean – Warren George American Legion Post 67, located on the “Mill Pond”, hosts community and private events. The post also operates the Legion Hamburger Stand at 133 N Main Street on Fridays typically from May to October, which is famous for their “sliders”.
