What Is Town & Country Days?

Town & Country Days is an annual four‑day summer celebration held in downtown Lake Mills, always during the last full weekend in June. It’s a vibrant, small-town festival packed with events for all ages:

• Carnival rides & midway games, hosted by American Legion Post 67

• Parade with local floats, stilt walkers, live music

• Beer tent with live performances, run by the Sons of the American Legion

• Dunk tank, Big Wheel races for kids

• Yummy eats like Legion sliders, FFA BBQ lunch, and cream puffs

• 35th Annual Big Wheel Races: Saturday, June 28 at 12:30 PM, following the parade in Leader Printing’s lot

🎡 Carnival, Rides & Wristbands

• Ride times:

  • Thurs & Fri: 5–9 PM

  • Sat: 12–4 PM & 5–9 PM

  • Sun: 12–4 PM

• Wristbands (unlimited rides per session) available at a discount ($22 in advance / $25 on-site). Purchase vouchers from Lake Mills Leader office before Friday, June 27. Vouchers are redeemable only during ride times.

The Sons of the American Legion coordinates the live music under the beer tent. Expect family-friendly fun and a festive atmosphere:

• Where: Main Street (East Park Place to East Prospect Street)

• Organized by Legendary Lake Mills, Chamber Main Street, with floats, stilt walkers, and marching bands for all ages.

• Planning to attend? Stop by The Fharmacy (203 N Main St) – they open early and offer patio seating to enjoy the parade with a cold drink.
