The Jefferson County Literacy Council

The JCLC is celebrating over 20 years in business serving residents of Jefferson County who wish to increase their skills in reading, writing, math and computer literacy. We provide classes and one-on-one tutoring services in English as a Second Language and help individuals prepare for U.S. citizenship and/or GED testing. JCLC annually serves approximately 200 individuals in communities throughout Jefferson County and inside the Jefferson County Jail.
