Knickerbocker is a busy weekend in Lake Mills… Here are some places to grab food & beverages!

 

FRIDAY, 1/31/25

Crawfish Junction, W6376 Co Rd A, Johnson Creek (technically; just a mile out of Lake Mills) – Award-winning fish fry served until 9 pm (fried cod, pan-seared walleye, gator bite and, of course, crawfish!

Elsie Mae’s Sweet Shop, 360 Enterprise Dr – Open 7 am to 5 pm with a 4 for $25 Knickerbocker mini-pie special including one each of the following: Tyranena Sunset (Cherry, Elderberry & Blackberry), Wisconsin Winter (White Chocolate, Maple & Bourbon Pecan), Icehenge (Belgium White Chocolate & Winter Mint) & Legendary Caramel Apple!

The Fharmacy Public House, 203 N Main St – Open 3 to 11 pm (Kitchen closes at 8 pm) serving our Fabulous Fish Fry Dinner and a special Knickerbocker menu of hearty food including: Mango Curry (with or without Chicken), Chicken Tinga Tacos with chips & salsa, Shepherd’s Pie, Italian Beef with au jus, fried chips & giardiniera and Meatball Hoagies with fried chips… in addition to some appetizers from the regular menu.

Lewis Station Winery & Distillery, 217 N Main St – Open 12 to 8 pm (Kitchen closes at 7 pm)

Simple Kup, 123 N Main St – Open 6 am to 1 pm – Serving hot drinks for kids & adults with special “Knickerbocker” flavors for February!

Sunshine Brewing Company, 121 S Main Street – Open 4 to 9 pm (Kitchen closes at 8 pm). Serving their full menu of tacos, burritos, nachos & more, plus their Knickerbocker favorite, Chicken Tortilla Soup. Locally made beer, hard seltzer, NA beers and sparkling waters on tap all evening long.

The Velveteen Cocktail Lounge, (formerly The Hub) 128 E Madison Street – 5 to 7 pm Happy Hour!

 

SATURDAY. 2/1/25

VISIT THE ICE BAR ON FROZEN ROCK LAKE!! Access to the ice at Bartel’s Beach (210 S Ferry Dr) – Open 10 am to 2 pm, serving local beer from Tyranena Brewing Company and Sunshine Brewing Company as well as wine from Lewis Station.

REDEEM YOUR KIF PARTICIPANT DRINK TICKETS AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS (Saturday only): Crawfish Junction, The Fharmacy Public House, The Grist Bar & Table, Hering’s Fish Bowl, TT’s Time Out, Lewis Station, Patrick’s Bar Arcade, Sportsman’s Pub, Tyranena Brewing Company, The Velveteen Cocktail Lounge. ***Restrictions may apply at various locations (example: ticket good for one tap beer or a specific drink special). Locations reserve the right to redeem your ticket as needed. Tickets must be redeemed on Saturday, 2/1/25, and have no cash value to participants if not redeemed.***

American Legion Post, 129 S Main St – Chilly Chili Warmup, 11 am to 3 pm, $4 per bowl (cash only)

American Legion Hamburger Stand, 133 N Main St – Brat Sale, 8 am to 1 pm, $3.50 per brat

Stop by for lunch or dinner; Supper Club menu starts at 5 pm, featuring tender prime rib, a fresh salad bar & hearty French onion soup. (Safe ride does drop off & pick up at Crawfish!)

Elsie Mae’s Pie Wagon, Commons Park, Lake Street (near Lion’s Shelter) – Selling from 7 am to 5 pm; in the morning, get a warm turnover or croissant. Starting at 11 am, you can grab a hot pot pie! You can also grab a Knickerbocker mini-pie special (4 for $25) including one each of the following: Tyranena Sunset (Cherry, Elderberry & Blackberry), Wisconsin Winter (White Chocolate, Maple & Bourbon Pecan), Icehenge (Belgium White Chocolate & Winter Mint) & Legendary Caramel Apple!

SUNDAY, 2/2/25

Crawfish Junction, W6376 Co Rd A, Johnson Creek (technically; just a mile out of Lake Mills) – Start the day with an all-you-can-eat Snowmobile Breakfast hosted by the Twin River Riders from 7:30 am to 12 noon with the bar open, serving bloody marys & mimosas.
