Hot Dog Eating Contest

TIME: Saturday, 2/1/25 – 1 to 3 pm (Women’s contest @ 1 pm; Men’s contest @ 2 pm).

LOCATION: Patrick’s Arcade Bar, 201 N. Main Street

COST: $25 per contestant

INFO: Welcome to the 2025 Knickerbocker Hot Dog Eating Contest! Join us at Patricks-Arcade-Bar for a day filled with fun, food, and friendly competition. Think you have what it takes to devour the most hot dogs in record time? Test your eating skills and see if you can come out on top! WINNER receives $100 plus a Patricks-Arcade-Bar T-shirt! Top 3 competitors receive a Patricks-Arcade-Bar beanie. ALL competitors receive a Patricks-Arcade-Bar drink token! You can’t lose!

RULES:

  1. Competitors must be 21 years of age.
  2. All Registrants must read and sign a waiver prior to competing.
  3. Each competitor has 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible.
  4. Competitors receive one plate of 5 hotdogs, with buns, at a time.
  5. No condiments are allowed or provided.
  6. Water is allowed and will be provided.
  7. Competitors can separate the hot dogs from the buns, but must eat an equal amount of each (example: 49 hot dogs and 48 buns eaten equals a score of 48).
  8. Competitors are allowed to dunk the hot dog and bun in a cup for a maximum of 5 seconds.
  9. No utensils are allowed. Competitors are allowed to break up the hot dogs, but must do so with their hands.
  10. Any competitor who vomits during the competition is disqualified.
  11. The competitor who ate the most hot dogs and buns eaten within 10 minutes wins. At 10 minutes time, they will have 30 seconds to swallow what is in their mouths.
  12. In the event of a tie, there will be a 3 hot dog “eat-off,” which is a race to see who can eat the three the fastest.

There is a maximum of 20 contestants per contest (20 for men’s and 20 for women’s).
