Ice Fisheree

TIME: Saturday, 2/7/26 – 7 am to 3 pm; door prize drawings begin at approximately 4 pm at the after party at the American Legion Post 67.

LOCATION: Fish any where on Rock Lake!

COST: $15.00 Entry Fee (ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY) – Each registration also receives a Knickerbocker Drink Ticket good at various locations in Lake Mills through Sunday, 2/8/26.

Sign up ends at 6 am on 2/7/26, the day of the Fisheree.

RULES: NEW RULES FOR 2026!

No more point system! Fish caught during the event will receive an entry into species specific drawings, assuming they meet minimum size qualifications (see below); multiples of each species may be entered & measured:

• Bluegill – at least 8″ (up to 4 fish)
• Crappie – at least 11″ (up to 4 fish)
• Bass (Large or Smallmouth ) – at least 15″ (up to 4 fish)
• Perch – at least 10″ (up to 4 fish)
• Walleye – at least 15″ (up to 3 fish)
• Northern Pike – at least 26″ (up to 2 fish)

***Each participant may measure & enter a total of 21 fish based on the guidelines above***

Measured fish must be caught on Rock Lake during the fisheree (7 am to 3 pm) on February 7, 2026, to be eligible. No FROZEN FISH/WHITE CRAPPIE/COSTCO SALMON will be considered. Event staff reserve the right to accept/decline fish entries depending on perceived “fishy business”!

State DNR regulations for Rock Lake apply to this contest.

This is a catch & keep or catch & release event. To be considered, fish must be measured by an official before being released.

Measuring will occur at/near the ICE BAR, located on the frozen lake (weather permitting) at Bartels Beach. Contestants must be in line by 3:10 to have your fish measured by staff, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
