I have been the LMMSP Executive Director since November, 2011. I have a degree in Professional Writing from Mount Mary College. My prior experience has been as a corporate writer for Assurant Health. After being an enthusiastic volunteer and board member for the Lake Mills Main Street Program for several years, I was thrilled to apply for the position of Executive Director when it became available in 2011. I want to share my love of Lake Mills and the Lake Mills community, and count myself lucky to live here and raise my children here, along with my husband, Randy Otto (aka Winston Churchill).
I have lived in Lake Mills for 32 years. Have always been a promoter of this community. Have been in involved with the Main Street Program since our first attempt in 1996 and again successfully in 2006. Presenting at the state level both times. Very proud of the accomplishments of the Main Street Program as well of the Cities efforts and other civic organizations as a whole.
Vice-President, Economic Restructuring
Originally from Mercer Wi, I found my way to Lake Mills after attending college at UW-Stevens Point and then began a career in banking in the Madison area, finally landing as the Commercial Banker for Bank of Lake Mills. My wife Toni and I found it to be a great small town where we felt good about settling our family and raising children. I have loved the outdoors and being on the water my whole life along with a sense of community where neighbors, friends and family all come together. That sense of community drives me to give back and being a board member with the Lake Mills Main Street Program gives me the opportunity to do just that. Support our commerce while preserving our historic charm and our natural resources of Rock Lake and our beautiful parks and other amazing outdoor activities.

I have been involved with the Main Street Program for 5 years serving as a board member and on the Design Committee. I grew up in Lake Mills and returned back here to open a photography and graphic design studio after a few years living in Los Angeles and working in the fashion industry. When I returned, I fell back in love with Lake Mills and everything it has to offer. My studio is located at 112 South Main Street, second floor.
I have the honor of serving as the District Administrator of the Lake Mills Area School District. Being a member of the Mainstreet Board of Directors is a natural extension of my love for this community and all who live, work, and play here! Growing up in Lake Mills, I took for granted that all communities had the energy and offerings of Lake Mills-I was wrong. I have come to realize that this is truly a special place and it takes all of us to showcase all the community has to offer.
I have been on the Main Street Program board for five years. Previously, I had been a member of Paint the Town Committee and is currently a member of Arts Fest Committee and Org Committee and the Volunteer Coordinator. I am a retired ER nurse and a Lake Mills resident for 49 years. I love this community, and the great spirit of its residents.

My wife Patty and our three (now grown) children moved back to Lake Mills in 2000 and are both very happy to be back in our home town. A proud L-Cat and graduate of Lake Mills High School and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Served as Board Member and Past President of the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation.
I was born and raised in Lake Mills and I’m so grateful for this. I’ve lived in Madison, Durango CO., and San Diego CA. After moving back, I got Married to Inger (my incredible WAY better half), raised our 3 children (Chandler, Carson & Delaney), worked for the Family Business (warehousing) and ventured out on my own (Insurance). I’m an Independent Insurance Agent with the Harms Insurance Group located right downtown on Lake Street. I love to share “MY Hometown” with everyone, and anyone, I meet and I believe there is something for everyone in this Legendary Community.
